Another major arrival is Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s release of Kraven the Hunter. This film, based on Marvel Comics, brings a darker, ‘R’-rated perspective to the superhero genre. Viewers can add this title to their collections across multiple physical media formats: DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, ensuring high-definition viewing for those seeking the best possible quality.

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment is set to debut Jake Kasdan’s Red One. This feature presents a unique blend as a Christmas action-adventure comedy. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, and J.K. Simmons in the role of Santa Claus. After earning $25 million at the domestic box office, Red One will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD disc, making it accessible for families and action-comedy fans.

Genre Offerings and International Titles

Beyond the marquee names, the March 4th slate includes other intriguing releases catering to specific tastes. The action-packed sequel Den of Thieves 2: Pantera will be released on Blu-ray, continuing its gritty crime narrative. Additionally, the animated feature Ghost Cat Anzu joins the physical media lineup, also available on Blu-ray, offering an international flavor to the week’s releases.

The date also sees several titles making their way to digital platforms. Between Borders becomes available as a digital release, offering flexibility for viewers who prefer online access. Meanwhile, The Last Showgirl will be released via VOD, providing on-demand availability for this feature.

Classic Thrillers in 4K

Rounding out the diverse offerings, Kino Lorber is presenting a special treat for fans of classic cinema and psychological suspense. As part of their curated “Peril and Distress” line, the distributor is releasing a two-pack of thrillers on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. This set includes the 1966 film Picture Mommy Dead, directed by cult filmmaker Bert I. Gordon, and the 1972 film Endless Night. These releases provide an opportunity for cinephiles to experience these vintage genre pieces in high-definition clarity.

With a mix of recent blockbusters, genre-specific titles, and classic re-releases, the home entertainment market on March 4, 2025, offers a comprehensive selection designed to appeal to a wide array of viewer preferences and interests.
